The ORIGINAL strip from STRAITFLEX is a composite material strip used to finish all technical angles when treating plasterboard joints . It replaces reinforced strips and metal edges . Paper-free and metal-free, its composite material gives it superior finishing and resistance capabilities. The Original strip is installed faster and better finished.
     INSTALLATION and ADVANTAGES:
I cut the desired length and fold the strip, writing inside.

I cut the ends at 45°.
I give it the desired angle, because the Original strip has shape memory.
I install it to correct and reinforce the external angles as well as the internal angles.
The 6 cm width covers and reinforces the joints better.

I apply plaster on both sides of the corner (about 5cm on each side).

I place the strip on top and tighten it with my spatula.

I can immediately redouble it with plaster; without paper, I don't risk bubbles!!! I do both sides thanks to the protruding edge (for the external angles).

I let it dry and then come back and do my finishing pass.

The Original strip will leave a thin, straight edge.

Sanding will provide a flawless finish before painting.
